About LeveredAge
Most of what you read about getting older is about managing decline. LeveredAge is about the opposite: the decades when judgment, relationships and resources finally add up.
LeveredAge publishes practical ideas for people in their 40s to 70s who have built something (a career, a firm, a family, savings) and intend to stay sharp, strong and in demand for the next 30 years. We are not trying to look young. We want to be formidable.
What we cover
- Mind: learning, focus, reading, curiosity.
- Body: strength, mobility, sleep and energy, approached the way a well-informed adult would.
- AI for 40+: making AI your research assistant, editor and chief of staff.
- Money and work: second acts, consulting, boards, and making experience pay.
- Purpose: legacy, mentoring, family, and what "enough" looks like.
Editorial standards
On health topics we cite primary sources and describe what studies found. We don't promise outcomes, and we don't sell miracle products. We are not doctors; nothing here is medical advice.
Who runs it
LeveredAge is run by Chris Oswald. We publish articles here and send one useful email a week. That's it.
